At SonSurf Beach Bash your kids will have fun in the Son! Children will have a great time singing songs, watching skits, creating crafts and playing games. But most important, they’ll discover just how much God loves them. Vacation Bible school is for children ages four through rising sixth graders.
Every summer our children, along with our youth and adult volunteers, learn about God’s love during an exciting week at Vacation Bible School. We cue curriculum from Group (Publishing) which gives us a different, fun theme each year. The children start the day watching a skit that introduces the idea of the day; then spend an hour in class with a team of 2 teachers, plus a youth helper; then rotate through craft, music, games and snack centers, that each reinforce the day’s lesson. The children also learn about service and helping others by collecting items for the Lawrenceville Food Co-Op throughout the week. In 2010, we collected over 2,700 items for people in need.
