Golden and Silver Fellowship

Golden Silver group photoThere are NO boring Senior citizens at Christ the Lord — this group knows how to have a good time!  Meeting once a month, they enjoy exciting outings and each other.  This picture is from their Christmas celebration during which they decorate the church and enjoy a dinner together – an activity they enjoy every year.  And we all get to enjoy the beautifully decorated church.

This group is for people age 50 or better that enjoy dining out, playing games at church, potlucks, plays, and trips to area attractions. We welcome members, visitors, and friends to all our events!

Contact Joe Bonda for more information or to RSVP.

A golden girl speaks about G&S

The Golden and Silver Fellowship consists of a magnificent group of senior citizens, who accept the aging process in their stride. The members hail from all sections of the United States of America and from all over the world. Some members are from as far away as Africa and Germany. The members have various backgrounds. Some are retired ministers, teachers, librarians, stay-at-home moms, nurses, secretaries, consultants, electricians, business owners and so on. Most of them are retired, but very busy with their hobbies, such as needlework, crocheting, knitting, sewing, fishing, traveling, flea marketing, entertaining, loving their children and loving and spoiling their grandchildren.

The Golden and Silver Fellowship members are loving, kind and thoughtful and sincerely care about one another. Those who are able care for those who are not able. They are kind in words and deeds.

The members have lots of things in common. They love to eat, play, talk and laugh. They are a jolly, merry group of seniors that meet once a month to do some exciting and fun things. Such as, eating, playing miniature golf, going to plays, going on trips, going to pool parties, cookouts, playing board games and so on.

I am blessed to be a member of the Golden and Silver Fellowship who loves and is loved by the other members. I am one of “The Golden Girls.”
