4 Services Every Sunday
|
Habitat of Gwinnett and Christ the Lord are looking for some caring people to volunteer their time and talents to help build a home, raise some funds, have a great time and change some lives within our community. The building process will happen on Saturday, May 12. Meet at the church at 7:25 a.m. to carpool for a day of fun. This event will give you a chance to meet others in our church and other local congregations, learn new skills, challenge yourself and see first hand how our church can reach out and change lives. Just say, “Yes”! Sign up by contacting Jim Summerville, and he will do the rest. He will find a way to get you involved.

November 20, 2011 Dear Pastor Bob and CTL Congregation, With your help I was able to raise more than the targeted amount of $5,000 to support the mission of Habitat for Humanity’s Carter Work Project in Léogâne, Haiti. The trip to Haiti was amazing. Words cannot begin to describe all that we saw and experienced there. For more details, follow my blog. We also plan a feature article for the February 2012 issue of the magazine (will also be available online). I have fallen in love with the Haitian people and have committed to advocate on their behalf. To that end, I am beginning plans now to return next year to help move this project, slated for a total of 500 homes, to completion. I am honored and thankful that you joined me in being a part of the CWP this year and hope you will join me again in 2012. Sincerely, Rick Damato
