Come Join Us
All are welcome to worship with us. We celebrate our faith in Jesus Christ through a variety of worship and music styles and traditions. All services are presented in a casual and open style. They relate the lessons of the Bible to the concerns of our modern world. Holy Communion is celebrated every Sunday at either the traditional or contemporary service (except on the fifth Sunday) and is open to all..
Traditional and Contemporary Worship Services
We have a traditional service at 8:00 and 11:00, featuring organ-led hymns and following the liturgy of the Evangelical Lutheran Worship book. Communion is held on the second and fourth Sundays of each month.
At 9:00 and 10:00, we enjoy a more contemporary service led by a live band. The songs and liturgy come from the Morning Star worship book and feature inspirational songs from current artists and groups. Communion is held on the first and third Sundays of each month. If you miss a sermon or would just like to listen to a Sermons online you will find them here on our website.
Services are enhanced by music from CTL Choir, the Men or Women’s Choirs, Handbells (CTL Rhythm Section Handbell Choir, and Children’s Chime Choir “Chimers”), or CTL Recorder Choir or piano / flute duets. You can enjoy Musical recordings from services online. Sometimes Liturgical Dance blesses us with a performance.
Service bulletins are available for download to use during service on your handheld device from this website. At the door of the sanctuary you will be offered a printed copy. We also offer large print bulletins if you need one.
If you are interested in an up-beat, creative, and Spirit-filled worship experience, check out our monthly Youth Worship Services. They are usually the third Sunday evening once a month. Check the calendar for times. Youth comprise the band and choir, youth share their spiritual journey with others, and canned goods are brought to support various ministries. Everyone is welcome to join us!
In addition to our regular Sunday Worship Services, seasonal worship services are held during the weeks of Advent and Lent. Our Calendar, bulletin and E-News are good resources for more information as the time draws near. You will find more information under the “What We Believe” section of this website.
Children are always welcome in services. In addition, Sunday School is an available option. Grab an Activity bag for your child to help them stay entertained during service. Speakers in the narthex or’ lobby’ allow listening to the service outside the sanctuary. A staffed nursery can lovingly care for your child if you wish to use it.
Jenny Lanning, our Director of New Member Ministry, is always in the Narthex on Sunday mornings to greet, direct people. She will be happy to offer information on our congregation and upcoming activities. Membership information is available online or she will be glad to assist you.
Do you have questions? Call or email Janice Aldridge, our parish administrator at 770.963.4499. She will be glad to help you.
